Reds Meadow Campground

Reds Meadow Campground will be open Friday and Saturday nights only, first-come first-serve, from June 7 – September 15, 2024. Other campgrounds in the Reds Meadow Valley area will be closed for the 2024 season (including Agnew Meadows, Minaret Falls, Pumice Flat, Upper Soda Springs, and all group campgrounds).
The shady pine forest of Reds Meadow Campground attracts all kinds of outdoor lovers, who can wake up and hike to Devils Postpile National Monument, Rainbow Falls, the Pacific Crest Trail, John Muir Trail and the San Joaquin River. This 56-site campground is first-come, first-served. Amenities in the Reds Meadow valley, which is 20 minutes outside the town of Mammoth Lakes, include showers and a general store.
