Sherwin Creek Campground
Overview
Stay near some of Mammoth Lakes' best hiking trails in a wilderness area on the outskirt of town. This 85-site campground is popular with dog owners, fishers, hikers and backpackers. It is also the closest campground to a large motocross event every June. Located at 7,600 feet elevation, campers can walk to local fishing spots and trails or mountain bike easily to and from town. Water, toilets and bear lockers are provided.
