FISHMAS - The official start to fishing season in the Eastern Sierra
Apr 26
Overview
Join us in Mammoth Lakes as we kick off another fishing season with the annual "Fishmas" holiday! Opening Day of the regular fishing season, aka "Fishmas", is always the last Saturday in April. This is when most waters in Mono County are open to anglers to fish. Regulations on local waters do vary so be sure to check the CDFW regulations for specifics on your favorite fishing hole.
The regular fishing season always ends on November 15th.
