Skiing and Snowboarding Lessons at Mammoth Mountain

Start your ski trip off right with ski or snowboard lessons at Mammoth Mountain.

Whether it’ your first time on the slopes or just your first time back this season, a lesson will help to boost your confidence and allow you to progress to more challenging terrain. Plus, skiing and snowboarding lessons are a great way for kids to learn the sport. Lessons are offered from all three Mammoth Mountain lodges — Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge. Private Lessons At Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth Mountain offers private lessons for all age groups. Get one-on-one instruction with a pro, or invite up to four friends to join the private lesson. Private skiing and snowboarding lessons are the best way to progress quickly and take your skills to the next level.

Group Lessons At Mammoth Mountain

Adult Group Lessons

Adults (ages 13+) can join in group lessons for beginner, intermediate or advanced skiing and snowboarding. Two morning sessions and an afternoon session are available. Kids Group Lessons

Children ages 3 to 12 can participate in group ski and snowboard lessons at Mammoth Mountain. Lessons are broken down by age group, with morning and afternoon sessions available to kids 3-4 and full-and half-day lessons availble to kids 5-7 and 8-12. Small children ages 3-4 are also elligible for lessons with an add-on day care option.

Getting To Mammoth Mountain

By Shuttle

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) provides free roundtrip shuttle service to all three of Mammoth Mountain’s lodges. The shuttle is the recommended mode of transportation to Mammoth Mountain, as traffic by car can be heavy during holidays and weekends.

The Red Line bus runs to Main Lodge. The Blue Line bus serves Canyon Lodge, and the Yellow Line provides transportation to Eagle Lodge. Access all three shuttles from The Village at Mammoth or designated stops along the routes. A gondola also runs from The Village at Mammoth to Canyon Lodge. By Car

Mammoth Mountain lodges are also easily accessible by car. Parking at all Mammoth Mountain lodges is free, although paid premium parking options are available. A number of Mammoth Lakes taxi and shuttle services also provide transportation to Mammoth Mountain.
